Hello! Welcome to Colby’s Burnt Wood Flags!

Tina and I are both retired US Air Force veterans and, like many patriotic Americans, we feel a strong sense of pride for the American flag and love for our country.  Colby’s Burnt Wood Flags was born out the sense of enjoyment I get from building flags and presenting them to our fellow veterans.

 

I learned woodworking skills while working with my dad, Dick Colby, who was a master carpenter for over 40 years as well as a US Army veteran.  Without his patience and teachings, not only in woodworking and building houses, but in life, I would not be the man that I am today!  I love you and I miss you Dad!

Our website does not have a “click to order” feature.  We prefer to communicate with you directly by phone, e-mail or text message (whichever you prefer) to ensure that you get exactly what you want. All of our flags are built by hand and to YOUR specifications.  We do not use computerized routers or any mass manufacturing techniques and the wood burnt, not stained. Each stripe is burnt and brushed individually before the flags are assembled and each star is hand placed; therefore, each flag is unique and no two are identical.
